Copernicus: On the Revolution of the Heavenly Spheres Mark-up

Summary: The Scientific Revolution took place in the Europe. It also undermined the power of the church, from the late 16th and early 17th century. There were advancements in political theory, science and on. Many people of the church did not agree with advancements/ ideas during this time. People were condemned like Galileo by the church Copernicus wanted to explain to Pope Paul III of his philosophy that the universe is not geocentric. His philosophy was regular of word of mouth but he wanted to reach to a big crowd. He does not want people to immediately reject his ideas, he wants people look into it and think for themselves, if the universe is really geocentric. He finds people to believe in the motions of the other planets are correlated with orbiting the earth, and are computed for revolution of each planet, the order and size of all planets and sphere, and heaven would be linked together, in that nothing can be changed without disrupting the remaining parts of the universe as a whole. Galileo published Copernicus ideas of the earth with further finds. It shows the Copernicus thought progress, like the scientific method with his idea that the universe is not geocentric and research and made a conclusion. The scientific revolutions lead to the separate/different of religion (church/ pope) and logic (Philosophers like Copernicus)
